I reached out to Sarah following an article of hers that I read in Eating Well magazine, because of her emphasis on intuitive eating. I had been looking for the best way to maintain consistent energy throughout the workday and also be able to feel my best when doing my workouts and physical recreation. On my quest to do that it seemed like I was always reading articles or talking to people who were telling me to do this or that eating plan - most of them complicated and time consuming and were not been sustainable for me. I had also worked with a nutritionist in the past who was very calorie counting, food limiting oriented.
From the beginning I knew I was in good hands with Sarah. The depth and breadth of her knowledge and expertise is evident in every discussion and recommendation she makes. She was able to quickly understand where I was at and made several straightforward recommendations that immediately helped me get to more consistent energy levels. The intuitive eating journey took longer, but I have had a total mindset shift that has really put me on a path of eating food that tastes good and helps make me fell at my best. She has also drastically simplified my thinking about food and menu/eating planning - by giving me some broad guidance on eating more plant foods and adding things to my eating routine that have gotten me to changes that are sustainable.
